20 - My Music Artwork process
Itโs my pen, paper, photography, and editing. No machine learning or generated slop.
The point of making my own artwork, is that I want to make this project completely my own and use it as a way to better myself in many aspects - TIME is the only investment I make into my solo project (not taking into account instruments, strings, softwareโฆ). Itโs not the best artwork, nor the best for my music, but itโs the best I can make at the time of me making it.
My works are done on paper, photoscanned, and only processed via blend modes against a library of textures that I photoscanned (image) or made from scratch using Procreate.
A good example of what you can make merely from random textures and blend modes, is the background for The Final Chapter. This is 100% made up of a few photoscans of rocky textures, using different blend modes to bring out splotches of color. This is a very random process so it takes a long time to experiment for a decent result.
